Artist are tolerated when they are complacent, and their product is enjoyed when it appeals to the masses. An artist that disrupts becomes dangerous. When art questions power instead of serving it, when it exposes hypocrisy instead of decorating it, art cab be a tool to alter perspectives and build communities. “Bite Back” serves to amplify creative risk-takers, disruptors, and the artists that bite the hand that never feeds.

With the help of the artist and people who donated, “Bite Back” was able to raise a total of $575 in donations. Majority of donations went to Grand Rapids Rapid Response and the remaining to Grand Rapids Trans Foundation.
